Youth Scholarships Awarded

2007-2008

The Chapter has awarded more than $ 6,500 in youth scholarships during 2007 and 2008

These include the following awards:

    2007 Individual (3) Scholarships  $ 1,500

    2007 Virginia State Dancesport Championships  $ 1,000

    2007 Capital Dancesport Championships  $ 1000

    2007 USA Dance Southeastern Regional Championships $ 1000

    2008 USA Dance Nationals $ 2,000

We will also be sponsoring youth champions at the following events:

    2008 Virginia State Dancesport Championships (July)

    2008 Capital Dancesport Championships (August)

    2008 USA Dance Southeastern Regional Championships (October)

We are hoping to see an big increase in Individual scholarship applications this year.
